Hello,
I have since learned that the records if there are any will be found directly with the Methodist Church your relatives attended. If that church merged with another, they are at the church they merged with. So you need to contact the church itself and ask if there are records for those years.
In my case of Rock Chapel there were not. Circuit preacher riders were still taking care of the congregational needs. That may be the case with your church also.
A helpful suggestion was to check with the presiding elder's family info for those years at the church and they may have kept some church family records.
