My mothers maiden name is adams. Her grandfather is a Thomas Irvin Adams born, 1879 in pa. His father was i believe a Franklin Adams born in pa and his mother, Margaret unknown? born in west virginia. (census records).
Could any body point me in the right direction to the start of this line. My uncle said that we are scotch-irish descent, beginning with MCADAMS.
