Are there any descendants of these people out there?
In the 1857-58 directory we have Mena mcCulloch, widow of Richard living at 26 Prospect. Also Peter McCulloch, shoemaker (My ancestor. I know all about him after this), Richard was there in 1852, a blacksmith.
There was also a William at 98 Prospect.
In the 58-59 directory Peter and William were still there.
In the 59-60 directory Mina is there.
In the 62-63, William is now at 26 Prospect. Peter had moved to Washington County by then.
In 63-64 William is at 96 Prospect.
I'm assuminmg these people are relatives of Peter and I'm hoping someone recognizes them since I know nothing about Peter before 26 Prospect St except he and his wife Mary Jane Brown came from Antrim County Ireland.
