Alexander NEGLEY (1734-1809) is alleged to have served as a “private soldier” in MOORHEAD’s INDEPENDENT COMPANY which was sent to defend Ft. Pitt during the early stages of the American Revolution.
Can anyone tell me how or where I can find more information about this military unit?
