Info states Martha E Leopold collected Widow's Benefits from John's Civil War pension. John was deceased prior to 1890. Martha E was b. June 1849 and had 7 children_ only 4 are living at the turn of the century.

She has 3 sons and a daughter still at home in 1900 Dayton, Armstrong County, PA_ Harry L (25) b. Mar 1872, Alpha J (20) b. July 1879, Ira J (18) b. Oct 1881, and Edith C (13) b. May 1887.
