Thanks so much for the information on Conner's Ice House in Garrett's Run...I have not had anyone describe it and I appreciate your husband taking the time to do so for me.
Does he know how long it was there and any info on the family that owned it?
I have searched everywhere for info on this place and there isn't anything to find . . . until you came along!

Did your husband live on South McKean Street, Kittanning?
I would send you an e mail but when I tried it wouldn't go through so I hope this isn't too personal for this site.
The reason I asked is I lived on South McKean Street beside a Tregaskes family. My former in laws lived right beside them. I now live in Texas and don't get "back home" much anymore, the last being 3 years ago.
