I'm researching my ancestral Woods family who lived in western PA from about mid-1700 to mid-1800. This includes the counties of Bedford, Washington, Allegheny, Beaver and Mercer. My GGGF James Henry (James H. on census records) was born in 1820 in PA on Mercer Co. Census at age 20 in 1840, as was John Woods both Neshanock TWP. Would like to contact others, either kin to, or researching the Woods of Pennsylvania.
