Thank you Sheri for your input. I do not think the Alexander you refer to is the same. The Alexander in Beaver County in 1860, based upon the Cemetery record, the wife's name would be Harriett and she died in 1865, which makes sense for the Alexander living in Moon in 1870 and 1880. The names of the children and ages do seem to fit. I note another Adams, on the 1860 census in Beaver County immediately following the Alexander. Related or not, I do not know. Finally, I found last week at the Carnegie in Oakland, the posting of a will for Alexander, but it was for an Alexander in Beaver County, and Moon Twp would make it Allegheny County. I will find the will and see if that adds anything to the case. Finally I do not know if the Church has any further record on Alexander but I will follow up there as well. Again, thank you very much.
