In the mid twentieth century there was a Dunmire family that lived in Windber, PA, Somerset county, only 30 miles from Bedford. I remember the most prominent member was Bryson Dunmire and I believe he held an executive post in one of the local industries (coal mining), banking or businesses. In the mid-fifties he would have been about 40-55 years old by my guess. I will be contacting an older Windber resident in the next month or so (she originally came from near New Paris) who would remember the family and if I get any information, I will pass it on. You might try Windber whitepage listings, also.
