I am seeking contact with anyone researching a William Sansom, who appears in the 1800 and 1810 censuses for Bedford County (either Bedford or St. Clair Township). He was likely born about 1748-1754 and his wife was born before 1755. They seem to have had one daughter and at least five sons. I believe two of their sons were William and Joseph, born ca. 1779-1781, and who moved to Armstrong County, PA sometime after 1808 but before 1813.

There were also Sansoms in the Philadelphia area who were Quakers, and so I wonder if William of Bedford might have been a Quaker as well, at least for a time.

If anyone would care to exchange information, please contact me directly at duaneaboggs@hotmail.com
