Does anyone recognize the name Nicholas Baker (born ca. 1836 in France)? He was a carriage manufacturer in 1880 in Emmitsburg, Frederick Co., MD.
I'm looking for any info on his wife, Isabella M. _____, who was born in PA, as were her parents. Nicholas & Isabella had several children, the first of which was Jane M. Baker (b.ca. 1863) who was born in Pennsylvania; the rest of the children were born in Maryland. So it looks like they lived in PA for a while before relocating to Frederick Co., MD.
