About 1850 in Blair Co., my g-grandfather, Michael McCormick, married Elizabeth Farrell. She must have died because a few years later he married my g-grandmother, Mary Dougherty.

Michael & Mary had two children in Hollidaysburg and then disappeared. They next appear in 1880 in California. Michael was born in Co. Tyrone, Ire. Mary most likely in Co. Donegal, Ire. They were both Catholic.
