I found your grandfather on the 1910 Census for Akron Township, Summitt County, Ohio (Enumeration District 151), family visitation # 199, sheet number 10A. They were renting at 134 Thornton Street in Akron and Earl was working as a Rubber Refiner at a Rubber Shop. In the household were:
Earl E. Spaid (husband) age 20
Rhoda M. Spaid (wife) age 17
Inez M. Spaid (sister) age 16
Irvon B. Spaid (brother) age 18
Earl's sister and brother were also working at a rubber shop. For both Earl and Rhoda it says that they were born in Pennsylvania as were both sets of their parents. They did not have any children as of 1910.
