Among the earliest settlers of Antis Township, Blair County, were John, Adam and Henry Turnbaugh. (Henry is my daughter's gggg-grandfather.) The latter two are brothers - the first likely is also, although that hasn't been proven. We really don't know the origin or parentage of these pioneering gentlemen, but evidence points to the fact that they probably came to Blair County from Maryland. Please e-mail me if you have any information that would be helpful in this search. Thank you very much.
