Hello,
My great grandmother was Alice Bouymaster Fox. She was born in Hollidaysburg PA Sept 2, 1864 and died in Danville VA Nov 22, 1919. She married RM Fox Sr in 1889 in Danville VA.
There wre at keast three brothers also born in Hollidaysburg--Reuben, William and Harry (Henry) and possibly a fourth (initals G.M). There was also a sister Clarry(Clara) Bouymaster born Sept. 26, 1864. There may have been another sister (Tillie?) who married a Rhodes. The sisters ended up in the Danville VA area, but the brothers stayed in Pennsylvania, apparently (one in Altoona, the rest in Hollidaysburg).
The Danville newspapers spell the name as Bouymaster in multiple articles over the years. However, I can find no record of this name anywhere (perhaps it was Baumaster or something similar).
Does anyone have any information regarding this family? I am trying to locate who Alice Bouymaster's parents were.
