Mrs. Mae Edmiston
Mrs. Mae V. Edmiston, 68, of 1245 Forbes Ave., died Thursday in City Hospital after a two year illness. Born in Altoona, PA., she was an Akron resident 39 years. Mrs. Edmiston leaves five daughters, Mrs. Helen E. Tennant, Mrs Ruth Maloney, and Mrs. Violet Tracy and Mrs. Gladys Lewis of Akron and Mrs. Anne Zehner of Lakewood, Cal.; two sons, James and Walker of Akron; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a brother, Dave Fonner of Altoona. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Eckard Funeral Home, the Rev. E. C. Frierson officiating. Burial will be in Ellet Memorial Cemeter. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
