Have been trying to link Adam to my Bowers ancestors for years and have accumulated a lot of info along the way. First Daniel & Wealthy Bowers are burried in Antis Cemetery next to Mary Bowers, wife of James W. Bowers. James was the brother of my gr-grgrandmother, Ann Elizabeth Bowers.
Believe Margaret Forshey was married first to a Mr. Crook and David, John,and Peter were from this first marriage. This all comes from info sent me by others. Margaret is burried in a Catholic Cemeter (Calvary ?) in Altoona. She was born in 1820 in Penn probably of French descent. Hope this is of some help. DOLORES
