A copy of The Dorland Enigma Solved by Barbara A. Barth, published June 2007 has been donated to the Spruance Library as well as the Gen. Society of Pa, (reviewed Spring/Summer 2007) which includes the family lines of Jannetjie Dorland and Ryck Suyden, descendants of Gerret and Geertje Dorland, and his son Jan Gerritszen and (1). Gertje and (2). Anna Remsen. Families includ Van Arsdale, Bennet, Krosen, Corson, Cravan. The Family lines of Lammert Dorland and wife Harmptje and also that of Jan and Barbara Van Nuys. Families include Brittain, Whiteman, Hewitt, Johnson, Wood, Hall.
Barbara untangled the confused lines created in the Dorlands in American, by John Dorland Cremer, plus there is a great deal of new information on both the Dorlands as well as the spousal lines.
This will be the only printing. If you are unable to get to either of these libraries, we did donate the book to various libraries across the U.S. If you prefer your own copy, feel free to contact me.
