He was born 1773 in PA and Baptised in the 1st Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia Aug 15 1773. John married Margaretha (Margaret on Marriage records) Daugherty on jun 24 1800 in Harford Cty, MD. We have been unable to find any information on Margaretha`s parents or her birth records. It is thought that he came from Philadelphia to Harford Cty, MD to visit relatives where he met and married Margaretha. They then moved to Black Twp, Somerset Cty, PA where their children were baptised in St John`s Reformed Lutheran Church (Sanner Church).
The first child Margaretha Little was born in Black Twp, Somerset Cty, PA and baptised Apr 26 1801.
Another daughter was born before 1810
The second child Jonathan Solomon Little was born Oct 29 1803 and baptised Dec 26 1803
George Litel was born Oct 17 1812 and baptised Jun 1 1813
The family migrated to South Huntington Twp, Westmoreland Cty, PA according to 1820 PA census.
