Thanks, Mike I went to the NY state site. It says the New York State Department of Health does not file records of birth, death and marriage from the cities of Albany, Buffalo and Younkers prior to 1 Jan 1914. I got the address for the local registrar at Buffalo. They want $22 for each item requested for a 1-3 yr search. The fee gets higher for more yrs. We have the exact date so there shouldn't be any problem, unless it didn't get filed!
