I am trying to find ancesters of these two indivduals who were married sometime about 1825 to 1835. According the Beer's Atlas, Martin owed a home on center st in East Mauch Chunk. Where Martin Berwick came from and when seems to be a mystery. Some references say Germany and others France. There was in 1850 a family of Rute's (Root's) in the census. But I can't link them to Hester.
Any help would be appreciated.
