It does seem like we have a connection here -- I had some of the info on your John and Mary already (the younger kids, taken from the 1900 Census)
Would welcome the source info for your ship arrival and naturalization for William. On arrival, I had figured it must be somewhere 1838-40 because kids born before 1838 show up as born in Ireland in census, while those born 1840 and after show up born in Pennsylvania (based on 1850 census record for Wiliam and Margaret showing 6 kids).
Any info on other children, or additional links, more than welcome.
