Thanks for the update. I have contacted the email address I found for Maxine and offered assistance with addresses if they decide to fundraise to help their efforts. I have cousins planning to be buried in the family plot in the years ahead so it should definitely be in their interest to help restore it.
A lot of people from Lansford and Summit Hill and the other small towns started to be buried in SkyView Cemetary in Hometown ("suburb" of Tamaqua, a short drive from Lansford and SH)in the fifties. I know quite a few people from our church are there as we had no church cemetary. My dad bought the plot for our family in the early 60's and it was a well established cemetary by then. The Odd Fellows Cemetary in Tamaqua is another cemetary people used in that area. I know I have an aunt and uncle buried there. Sky View has an office staff on duty Monday through Friday and if you Google Sky View Memorial Park someone took the time a few years ago to list alphabetically all the stones in place there up until the early 2000s. I have no idea how to learn anything about Odd Fellows if either of these would be of interest to you in your search. Take care
