Thank you Shannon. And thanks for checking the roster for me. My problem is there are so many Michaels, and Bridgets and Johns that I give up each time I look.

There is one other Connor family in Mauch Chunk who you probably need to be aware of. (Sometimes, spelled Conner, and not Catholic, but they were of Irish Heritage.) Cornelius, b. abt. 1803 and Peter b. abt 1806 - I'm guessing without my notes. They were born in the Catskills (NY) to perhaps a John. Cornelius had a hotel in Mauch Chunk, also a public house. There was a Connor's Bridge and a Conner's Corner in Mauch Chunk. Perhaps they were the draw that brought the other Connors to Mauch Chunk. My Michael Connor had a son Cornelius and a son Peter. He may have just heard those names growing up, or they may have been somehow connected.

It's just something to keep in the back of your mind when You're trying to figure out what they were doing in Mauch Chunk.
