Shannonn - I did some looking on Google over the weekend and I'm afraid I misled you. I don't think either of our Connor families were connected to Crnelius or Peter.
From the cemetery records in Mauch Chunk, Cornelius was born 7/15, 1799 to John Connor (b. 1753, d. 1836, buried in Mauch Chunk but fought in the Rev. War) and Desire b. 1771, d. 1842. Cornelius was married to a Margaret who d. at age 32 in 1839. He then married a Christina who died in 1900, age 90. Cornelius died 3/14, 1858.
Peter was born in 1789. He married a Catherine and they had a son named Cornelius who died in 1836 at age 11. They also had a daughter Amelia who died in 1843 at age 11.
I cannot see a connection other than my g-grandfather had children by those names.Sorry.
