We would be very appreciative of the efforts of anyone to lookup 2 Centre Co marriages. We are looking for info on marriage date, confirm ages/birthdates, places of birth, names of parents, witnesses to marriages - whatever info is on the marriage application or certificate.
First:
Alfred C Grove married Elizabeth (Lizzie) A Evey in or about 1890. Alfred was born Apr 1863 in Lemont, son of Michael H Grove & Eva Stover. Alfred died in 1950 in Bellefonte. They had 3 children in Centre Co: Roy (1891), Clair (1894), and Pearl (1899). Lizzie was born Dec 1890 in PA (per 1900 census), and we want to learn who her parents are.
Second:
John Allen married Susannah Someone about 1861 in Centre Co. John was born about 1822 PA, and appears to have died between 1910/1920 in Centre Co. Susannah was born about 1827 PA and died sometime between 1880/1900 in Centre Co. They had 3 children born in Centre Co: George W (1863), Mary E (1865), and Emma S (1867). We are interested in learning the lineage of both John and Susannah.
Mary E Allen marries William R Shope (b. 1865) in or about 1889 in Centre Co. Their daughter Nettie B Shope (b. 1893) marries Roy Grove about 1910 in Centre Co.
