JOSEPH JOHNSON (1743) & wife MARTHA HOUSE

I am helping a lady with her application to the DAR.

We are drawing a blank on the marriage of Joseph Johnson and Martha House. We think they were married about 1773--possibly in Chester County.

We are also looking for the baptism of their son, John born about 1777 also possibly in Chester County.

This family moved to Allegheny county after the Revolutionary War where Joseph died in 1839.

The son John moved on to Knox co, OH by 1806.

We would appreciate any help you can give us. I have used all the FTM PA discs that are availble with no success.
