I am looking for more information that connects these two women to the same John Gardner b 1742-50. Violet died 1781 in PA. He married Mary and moved from Chester Co PA to Berkeley Co.,VA where she is buried. I show his son James,by Violet next door to Mary in 1810 VA. James married Mary Conway, then Susanna Beavers. John's death is vague, but they say he died on the way to sell grain? in Loudon Co., VA. No marker ever found.
