Susan A Hutton (1802-1870) and Alexander Ewing (1788-1865) were married about 1815. They lived on the Pennsylvania Maryland border before moving to Jefferson Co Ohio. Family lore has it that the house was in Pennsylvania and the spring in Maryland. In the 1850 census both werre listed as being born in Pennsylvania. When Alexander purchased land in 1816 in Jefferson County Ohio, the deed said that he was fron "Sissel County Maryland" In 1851, the family moved from Ohio to Pike County Illinois. Does anyone know the parents o;f Susan?
