It would be a help if you'd included where you came by the wedding date...it's often a clue as to where to look next.
Cooper is not an unusual name in Chester County, unfortunately.....and there appear to be several different and unrelated families. I found 2 Johns in the 1765 Chester archives...one, listed as an inmate in West Bradford, and the other owned 20 acres in Oxford twp....however, an inmate is a married man who lives in the twp but owns no land, so if 'your' John didn't marry till 1780, this wouldn't be the John you seek. I checked THE HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY, by Futhey and Cope, and there is no Trout in the index. (there were no Trouts included in the 1765 archives either.)
I looked at the CD of area wills, and there are no Trouts included in any Chester wills...I did see that there were quite a few Trouts in Berks Co, so that might be a clue.
You might want to be sure of the township where Wagontown is located...most records are done by townships, so it's pretty essential to know the name of that township (remembering that the names sometimes change, as twp boundaries often change...so, check the year)
Not much luck with John Cooper wills, but the following is a 'maybe' set of adm papers...you could write for a copy of them from Archives and Records...check the online site for the 'how to'.
COOPER, JOHN. Oxford. November 2, 1795. Adm. to Mary and Thomas Cooper.
here's a later set of adm. papers...I was hoping to find John in the will of his father, but no such luck...

COOPER, JOHN. Lower Oxford. May 13, 1814.
John Andrews, administrator. d b n.
