The only Ellen Kerns that I’ve found in clippings at Chester County Historical Society is mentioned in 2 articles (1911 and 1912) and both relate to her estate (if she has one?)
Does say she is late of West Bradford – 1911 “There has been filed in the Chester County Court, the petition of AL Halterman of WC administrator of said estate, asking for the appointment of an Auditor to inquire and determine whether there had been escheat or not.”
Perhaps the folks at the archives may have some info?
