Thanks for all the info. I was able to find the census record, listing for 1900, which confirmed her name as Sarah (C). It appears that there are two families of Albert and Sarah (M) Smith. This was the only record of a middle Initial I had, until seeing the 1900 census, and knowing that Sarah C. was the Bish d/o Michael and Agnes. This is why I had the date of 1859, for Sarah. The other family, the children differed but I though they had moved out of the household, was the reason, as their youngest would have been 18 in 1900. This family was in Monroe T. Clarion Co. At the library, I found a obit record for:SARAH C. SMITH DOD: 10-6-1906 INTERRED: TYLERSBURG I think this is her, as her son said she died when he was about 9 yrs old. Being born 1897, it would be 1906. It gave her age which also matched. Absolom Smith's daughter Lavina m. Harry Lawrence. Their daughter Charlotte, m. Harry Henry Smith. son of Henry Albert and Sarah C. Smith. So Absolom's great gr dau thru Lavina m.his grandson thru Henry. Thanks for helping to straighten it all out.
