What a small world. Doris and Bob were my neighbors when I first got married, here in NC. I occasionally see their daughters. Doris's sister, is the person who I am doing this for. When talking about genealogy, she said she knew nothing about her father's family. This is how I came to follow the family tree, for her. As you know, Lavina Smith was her great grandmother, and Lavina's parents were Absolam and Kathryn Peters Smith, as were Henry Alberts parents. She's her own cousin as many of us are.
Sorry, I don't have the obit for Sarah C. Smith. Our library has a record of deaths for some years of Clarion County. This is where I found the record of her death.
As I'm doing this for her, I will check with her and see if she would like me to get copies of those obits,and I will let you know. Thanks, Nancy
