Hi - is anyone researching or related to these families. 1930 census had them on Greenwood St in Harrisburg, Dauphin County. Frank W. Holmes (48), Edna (McNew) Holmes (43), Frank H. (23), Robert B. (22), Russell E. (18), William H. (13), Gene T. (10), daughter-in-law Thelma E. (24), grand-daughter Billy Jane 3 3/12, father-in-law Charles W. McNew (69) and mother-in-law Vernettea M. (Tolbert) McNew (65). Vernetta ties into my Tolbert line and would be happy looking at ties. Also trying to track down old Tolbert/McNew photos.
