I have found more info, but not a complete answer to my own question. Is there a full list of whatever can be read of the tombstones at New Side? I found an 1878 list of burials for ancestors of families with connections to the church - McClure, Stewart, and Welch. I have been looking at warrants and patents and have found John Montgomery about whom I am inquiring lived near the New Side meeting. He was northeast of the site on the south side of Nyes Creek, a western branch of Beaver creek.

Also I have been reading about the confusion between the New Side site and the later Covenanters' site which led 19th century local historians to attribute New Side burials to the Covenanters. The latter were on Jonestown Road without a cemetery while the New Side was just off the Union Deposit Road.

Here's what I found in the 1878 list as best as I can read it:

William M'Clure Who Departed This Life April 1785 Aged 54 years

John Stewart of Dauphin county Hanover Township Who Departed This Life the 8th of April 1777 aged 63 years

Agnes Stewart Late Spouse of Hugh Stewart of Paxton who Departed this Life the 22d of March 1790 aged 55 years

Hugh Stewart of Paxton who departed this Life the 8th of Oct 1798 Aged 80 years

Hannah Stewart Spouse of said Stewart who departed this Life the 8th Oct. 1750 Aged 33 years

Sarah wife of Robert Stewart Born Aug 10, 1768 Died May 8, 1813 Aged 44 yrs, 8 mo's & 29 days

Robert Stewart Born March 8, 1765 Died April 4, 1854 Aged 89 years & 26 d. 1760

Margery Marshal Died Jan'y ye 6, 1766 Aged 21 Years & 5 months. Letters "G. M." carved with "1766" between on first line.

Mary Welch Who Dec'd August 22nd 1754 Aged 47 Years

Jean Welch Who Dec'd Sept. 8th 1754 aged 18 Years

James Welch who Deceased January ye 28d 1754 aged 50 years

James Welch Younger who Dec'd August 7th 1754 Aged 20 years

William Duncan Who Departed This Life Sept 24 1783 Aged 97 Years

James Duncan Who Departed This Life Aug't 25th 1792 Aged 68 years.

Joseph Willson Sen'r Who Departed this Life the 7 day Feb'y 1799 aged 84 Years

Jean his First Wife Departed this Life the 11th of April 1763 Aged 48 years
