1700s, Hanover Twp./Ballynahinch, County Down, Ireland connection?

There is a long list of 17-18th century Presbyterian congregants of Ballynahinch given at this website:

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rosdavies/WORDS/BallynahinchPresbyterianIndex.htm
Click on "Introduction and Ballynahinch Church History" option.

When I compared two 1769 Hanover Twp. lists with the Ballynahinch list I found about 50 surnames in common. Here are the matches; some had minor spelling variations:

Allen, Barnet, Bell, Brown, Clark, Craig, Campbell, Crawford, Ferguson, Finlay, Finney, Graham, Hanna, Hill, Hay, Houston, Harpur, Irwin, Kirkwood, Kennedy,
McMillin, McEwin, McCullough, McCormick, McClure, Moorhead, Martin, Montgomery, Patterson, Pettycrew, Riddle, Reid, Robinson, Rogers, Shaw, Stewart, Smiley, Sloan, Scott, Sturgeon, Swan, Tagart, Trousdell, Taylor, Thompson, Thornton, Todd, Wright, Wilson, Woods, Wallace, Watson, Young

Does anyone know of a connection between any of the citizens of Hanover Twp. and Ballynahinch, or any other town in County Down? Please reply to this post.

I am descended from James Pettycrew of Hanover Twp. and of Rockbridge Co. VA, and am trying to find his roots in Ireland. I am hoping the Ballynahinch list is a lead.

Thanks.

Bev
