Hello:
I'm not related, just offering some help.
The whole Oxley family is buried at the Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wallingford, PA.
James Oxley died in 1909 (from a fall while trimming a tree - a branch crushed him); wife Elizabeth died in 1929; daughter Elizabeth Hummel died in 1970; and son George died in 1979 (lived in Shiloh, NJ.). Joseph Cook and Thomas Cook were pallbearers at Mrs. Oxley's funeral in 1929.
If you order the death certificates for James & Elizabeth Oxley from the State of Pennslyvania you should learn the names of their parents.
Also, there was a "James Oxley" from England who applied for citizenship in Delaware County, Pennsylvania on September 25, 1884. These records are held by the Delaware County Archives.
What's more, Photos of the Oxley gravestones are online at findagrave.com
