Sorry to hear you are having such a tough time, Darla. Have you ask Fernwood what monument companies they have commerce with? The monument company would do the placement for you. I am not surprised that you are "finding them most interested in providing the minimum service possible".
Cemeteries just don't have the staff to do much other than handle records & burials. Unfortunately, Fernwood is one of them.
I am really shocked that no Episcopalian church would cooperate with you. Who have you spoken to so far?
It is very difficult to have to handle such things from a distance...I know, since my relatives are from the South and I'm living in DelCo. You may be forced to come here for some of what you want (flowers, etc).
