I'm terribly stumped in my family tree because of one man. His name is Patrick McDermott and the only record I have of him for sure is the 1880 Pennsylvania Census.
He married a woman named Catherine and they had 5 children: Mary E. (1870), Alice (1872), John Philip (1872), Clemens (1875) and Annie (1878). They lived in North Union in Fayette County in 1880 where Patrick was a laborer.
Does anyone have any information on him or advice on how to get to him? I'm totally stumped.
