Hi Gloria, I went to the St. Latter Day center an ordered a microfilm. I go on this site familysearch.org (which is St.Latter Day web site) and look up which ever I'm looking for at the time on my research. I think the # is for indexes to marriage licenses for Fayette County, Pa. is 1318025 (marriage L - N -O). There are other listing for marriage licenses/dockets. The information I gave you on the McCarty you can get the information for a fee at Fayette County Register of Wills Office in Uniontown, Pa. You have the Book # 15 and page # 235. On the marriage license it will have the parents name listed. This is great in finding your next family lineage. Good luck!
