Jacob Shaffer, father of William Hamilton Shaffer, lived in Bridgeport. William married Phebe Worchester, daughter of Noah Worchester of N.H. They had children, one of whom, Martha, (Mattie) married Marcellus M. Everly of Greene Co. Am trying to determine where Jacob came from.
