There is a Patrick McDermott in the 1870 census for Dunbar.
He is 44, an ore miner, born Ireland.
Catherine, his wife, is 22, born in Scotland. Their children were Mary E. and Catherine A., both listed as 8/12 old, born in PA.
Also living with them were James McCann, 43, also a miner, born Ireland and Phillip MCCann, 11, born PA.
