TANNERY LOCATION and TURNER'S POINT

Would anyone be able to tell me where the location would be for the old Brownfield Tannery in Georges twp., Fayette Co., PA. It was built by Thomas Brownfield about 1805 but was later possibly known as the Woods Tannery.

I am sure the old tannery is gone now but I am wondering where its location was in relationship to Rt. 857 out of Haydentown? I do have a copy of the 1872 map but am still seeking further confirmation and directions.

Also, I am trying to locate a piece of land located near the old tannery that was owned by a hunter named TURNER. He sold the property about 1816 to JOHN ADAM MITCHELL (Mushler). It was known as "Turner's Point" because of the high peak visible on the mountain. It later became known as the "old Mitchell place". I believe it was located in Georges twp., but there is a possibility that it might be located just across the line in Springhill twp.

Thank you.
