i've just come across a new lead in my family search. There is a written reference to my Lynn's going to Pennsylvania ( specifically "Limestone" in Fayette County ). However, the dates don't match up, at least based on family lore. The family lore is that Julia ( aka Marita ) Lynn with three sons in tow, Hiram and Newton King from a previous marriage and William Lynn ( born 1812 in N.Y.C. ) moved to Pennsylvania to farm. If the family lore is correct, this should have been circa 1812-late 1820's, because they moved to Portage County, Ohio circa 1830.
