Dear Kathe,

Am digging, digging. Seems there is a Rowlier surname in existance but...cannot find the meaning or whereabouts. Will be searching Native sites...Sometimes I find these names in them. Could be Delaware...Just do not know yet...Strange term..."Unknown Rowlier"...Something strange here. Been looking and boy this one is as hard as "Who was DeWalta's wife, Elisabeth?" Halbergers/Halbergs seem to move west with Delaware relocation...Timing, dates...Why? Then the joining documented with Wyandots who had given Delawares territory...All a real puzzle. Many present day Halfhills have no knowledge of this. And the Great Wyandot Chief..."Half-King" What? What? Jacob+Elisabeth...Abraham+Hill and so on and on. DeWalta (Tibold) Halberger and Elisabeth (NO MAIDEN NAME<BACKGROUND)...We've got something big on our plates, wow...

Best,
Phil Reed Halfhill/Halberg/Halberger
