Thank you so much for your information! My GGG-Grandfather, Thomas Jefferson John stated his parents were from PA. We have been trying to track down his parents for years and always came up with a brick wall. We think his father may have been John Johns because there is a John Johns in Preble Co., OH. and an Elizabeth. My TJ Johns was born in Preble Co., OH. in 1834. It could be his grandfather was this Jacob Johns you mnention, or it could be the Thomas Johns. TJ was very evasive in all his records as to his parents, even on his marriage Cert. He was married to Susannah Berry in Union Co., IN. in 1857. I appreciate your help, and any information anyone could give will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
