I'm not sure if this is the same family or not, as the children's names and marriages are different. This is from Leckey's Tenmile Country and Its Pioneer Families:"The Gordon Book does not give the family of James and Elizabeth (Guseman) Wells, nor does it mention the age of Elizabeth Guseman, daugher of Christopher and Elizabeth (Gordon) Guseman. The Gordons had originally lived on Monacocy Creek near Baltimore, but Elizabeth Gordon was probably born in Frederick Co, where she married Christopher Guseman on 3 July 1777. A son, Godfrey, was born 17 Nov 1779, and Elizabeth was the second child and probably born about 1781 in Monongalia County, VA. we are told that Elizabeth Guseman was very young when she married James Wells, a very wealthy man and former slave owner before migrating to what is now Greene County, PA. Family tradition says he never had to do any work, and never did. It is quite likely that he lived in Monongalia County prior to his migration. He died in Greene County, PA about 1815, his estate being proven on 28 Feb 1816. Orphan Court Docket 1, pp. 125 shows he had a number of minor children for whom guardians were appointed: 1. John Wells, over 14 Yrs of age in 1816, but under 21 2. James Wells, under 14 yrs of age in 1816, married_________King 3. Priscilla Wells, over 14 in 1816 4. Rebecca Wells, under 14 in 1816; 5. Sally Wells, under 14 in 1816; married Isaiah Steele 6. Dolly Wells, under 14 in 1816;m arried David Kughn 7. Eleanor Wells, married Basil Gordon 8. Joseph Wells married Amy Spragg 9. Benjamin Wells married ______Kughn 10. Susannah Wells married Peter Owens 11. Nancy Wells married Thomas Owens 12. Elizabeth Wells married Joseph Price 13. Godfrey Guseman Wells married Rhoda Phillips" Hope this at least gives you some clues
