Looking for family inforamtion on Peter Lashley Birch b. abt. 1822 to Thomas Birch Sr. & Maria Knox/Birch.
Peter Lashley Birch md. Elsabeth _______ (Everly?) abt. 1841, probably in Green co. She apparently died sometime around the birth of son Amos. He farmed out the children & later married Matilda Ann Stewart, abt. 1860. He & his son,Thomas were listed in household of his new in-laws in Tyler County, Virginia 1860.
The 1860 census Dunkard Township. Greene co. PA shows a son, Andrew S. Birch listed with a family by the name of Everly...hence the speculation that his mother's maiden name could have been Everly.
Does anyone recognize the family names of Birch, Everly,or Stewart? If so please contact me to compare & share family info. Thanks for your help!!!
