James Headley born 1798 in N.J. married Rachel Arnold born 1802 in N.J. 26 Feb. 1820 in Monmouth Co., N.J. They had 2 sons that I know of. In the 1850 census they were living in Elks Twp., Warren Co., PA.
Their son Elwood born Aug 1825 in N.Y. married Charlotte born April 1836 in N.Y. and they had 9 children all born in Elks Twp., PA., son Lafayette born April 1865, being the fifth child. He married Mary Shriver born
May 1863 in Pa. They had 7 children. Sometime after 1880 they moved to Whitley, Green Co., Pa. In 1920 census his 20 year old cousin Minnie Kiger born in PA. is living with them. Nancy (Headley) Gorby
