Mary Ann Wise(my gg grandmother) was born in 1856 probably Greene Co. Pa. She married Isaac Newton Barr. They had a son, Samuel Thomas Barr. Samuel was born in Cross Roads, WV on Oct 3, 1881 and died in 11 Nov 1945 in Johns Hopkins Hosp, Baltimore, Md. (He is buried in Fairmont, WV). Samuel married Georgia Simpson 15 June 1904 at the home of Georgia's parents. Mary Ann Wise parents were Thomas WEISS born 10 May 1818 Plainfield Twp, Northhampton, Pa. He died 23 Oct 1890. He married Eliza Sophia Cutler who was born 1826. Eliza's father was Calvin Cutler. Back to Mary Ann Wise, she had two brothers, Marion M. Wise who was born 6 Apr 1866 and died 27 May 1921, and Calvin Cutler Wise who was born in Apr 1861. Thomas WEISS" parents were George WEISS born in 1775 and married (1st) Jane King 29 Jan 1772 in Prince Georges Co. Md. George married (2nd) Elizabeth Heller in 1811 in Plainfield Twp, Northampton, Pa. George WEISS" parents were Thomas Wise/Weiss who was born ca 1726. He married Sarah lewis who was born ca 1720.
